Overview
Situated on the beautiful Acton campus in Canberra, Bruce Hall has established itself as a true community of scholars, where individualism is respected and excellence in all things is encouraged. The Hall fosters a self-regulating community where diversity is celebrated and inclusivity nurtured.
A Bruce Hall experience lays strong leadership foundations, with many of our Alumni now enjoying successful careers in the judiciary, Parliament, leading universities and the corporate world. Being an integral part of one of Australia's premier research and teaching universities enhances the opportunities available.
In 2019, new and existing Bruce Hall residents had the opportunity to be among the first students to occupy the newly built state-of-the-art residence located on Daley Road at the head of University Avenue. The new residence was designed with input from students themselves, as it aimed to retain the community features that make Bruce Hall so special.

Bruce Hall (Main Wing) is a modern building in a convenient location with disabled parking spaces available nearby. We have wide corridors, clear signage, colour-contrasting decor and large, wheel-chair rooms available for accessibility needs. Bathrooms are shared, with accessible ones available throughout the Hall. Each floor can be accessed via lift and has common areas, including quiet study spaces, available. Main wing is a catered hall and our catering staff can accommodate a wide variety of dietary needs, there are also dedicated quiet tables in the dining hall.
