“As an international student from Malaysia, I was excited to start a new life at the best university in Australia yet also nervous about being immersed in a new country, culture and environment without family. Thankfully, the transition to Canberra was smooth as there were many seniors from the different clubs and a first-year law mentor who was assigned to me, who answered all my questions with great patience. Canberra is a beautiful city—perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet without the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a multitude of activities and places to go if you know where to look!”
