Accessibility in Residences

If you're a student with disability or an ongoing health condition, accessible rooms are available.

Accessible rooms are prioritised for students who need them. If you require an accessible room, you'll be charged the standard room rate, not the higher accessible room rate.

You will be asked to provide supporting documentation when you apply. Your documentation is used only to confirm eligibility and doesn't need to include detailed medical information.

Apply through the standard accommodation application process and indicate that you require an accessible room. After you've applied, email us at uni.accom@anu.edu.au and our team will support you through the next steps.
