When you’re an ANU student, you won’t have to go far to switch gears from attending classes and writing essays to letting your hair down and having fun.

Our campus is a hub of student activities. Imagine yourself taking part in events, markets, performances and music concerts, many of which are held in easy reach of your residence, lecture halls and libraries.

Explore what our busy university’s social life looks like, including what you’ll experience at Kambri, the centre of student activity at ANU.

Study spaces

There are heaps of comfy spots to study on campus. Seat yourself in lounge zones or in the bean bags outdoors on the lawns. You’ll also discover tables with charging stations in Kambri and rooms with whiteboards and screens that make collaborating really easy.

Event glore

Kambri is famous for all kinds of social events, from concerts and movie nights to theatre and live music performances. During Orientation Week every semester Kambri really comes alive, with markets and workshops and the activities of ANU clubs and societies.

Shops and cafes

Our shops, cafes and bars serve up stationery supplies, text books and food from around the world. Catch up with friends over a burger, sushi and a smoothie or for a pub lunch and your regular dessert or coffee fix.

Indulge your interests or explore new things

ANU offers heaps of opportunities to pursue your hobbies and interests with other students. Whether you’re interested in the arts, languages, advocacy, physics or sport, there’s a club or society for you.

Joining is super easy. If you can’t find a club or society that satisfies your interests, start your own!
