Secondary Qualification Verification

The Australian National University recognises the following four international secondary school qualifications for undergraduate admission, among others. These qualifications must be verified through official online channels as outlined below:

Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT)

When registering for the SAT, students may nominate universities to receive their results once they are released. Additional score recipients can be added later for a fee.

SAT scores must be submitted via Collegeboard.org. The website provides detailed, step-by-step instructions for sending scores. To send results to ANU, enter the institution code 3582.

American College Test (ACT)

During ACT registration, students may choose to send their results directly to selected universities. Additional recipients can be nominated later for an additional fee.

ACT scores must be submitted through ACT.org. The website provides full guidance on how to send scores, including creating a MyACT account and submitting a score request. To send results to ANU, use institution code 5429.

Students who take AP examinations may send one free score report to a university of their choice. Additional reports can be sent for a fee.

International Baccalaureate (IB)

IB students may request that their official transcript be sent directly to universities of their choice, either before or after results are released. The first six requests are free; additional requests incur a fee.
