About this scholarship

 
In 2023, the ANU College of Business and Economics ('CBE') may offer an award known as the Abey Family Thrive Scholarship ('the Award').
 
The objective of the Award is to support a scholarship for an undergraduate student from a disadvantaged background to study in the College.
 
Funding for this Award has been provided by Mr Arun Abey.

Eligibility

 
The Award is available in 2023 to a commencing ANU student who:
  1. is a domestic student; and
  2. receives an offer of admission to a single or double undergraduate coursework degree program offered by CBE; and
  3. is eligible for and receives adjustment factors for low SEIFA.

Additional information

 

The Scholarship is valued at $15,000 per annum. The duration of the Award is for up to four years. It is paid in equal instalments at the beginning of each semester providing the recipient passes all the courses each semester or session.

All applicants applying for admission through the ANU Admission Scholarship and Accommodation Application System will be automatically considered for the Award based on them meeting the eligibility criteria and electing to be considered for scholarships.
