About this scholarship

 

Each semester, the ANU College of Law offers 8 x $500 gift vouchers for LLB(Hons) and JD students to assist with the purchase of law textbooks (Harry Hartog gift vouchers) or the purchase of electronic equipment required to study law at ANU (JB Hi-Fi gift vouchers).

All LLB(Hons) & JD students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for this bursary. Priority will be given to students who can demonstrate a higher level of financial hardship.

Funding for this Award has been provided by the ANU College of Law.

Eligibility

 

The Award is available each year to a continuing ANU student who is:

  • a domestic or international student; and
  • enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) (LLB(Hons)) or Juris Doctor (JD) in the ANU College of Law; and
  • enrolled in a law course for the study period they are applying for; and
  • able to demonstrate financial hardship.

Additional information

 

Successful applicants will receive either a $500 gift voucher for Harry Hartog or a $500 gift voucher for JB Hi-Fi, in accordance with the option selected by the student in the application form.

Unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer, the gift vouchers are provided to success applicants before or at the start of the semester.

The ANU College of Law will hold two application rounds each semester.

All applications completed before the round closing date and meet the eligibility criteria and conditions prescribed in the Conditions of Award, will be considered for this bursary.

Eligible applicants who were not successful in round one will automatically be considered in round two.

To increase your chance of being successful, the College recommends applying as early as possible.
