About this scholarship
Each year, the ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy may offer a number of awards known as the ANU Law Global Alumni Scholars Grant.
The objective of the Award is to provide financial assistance to ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy students when undertaking an international work-integrated learning opportunity overseas arranged by the college.
Funding for this Award has been provided by the generous contribution of ANU Law alumni who work in international private practice, technology companies and investment funds.

Eligibility
The Award is available each year to a continuing ANU student who (at the time of application):
- is a domestic student or an international student;
- is enrolled in one of the following programs at the ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy:
- Bachelor of Laws (Honours) as a single or Flexible Double Degree (FDD Law);
- Juris Doctor;
- Master of Laws;
- Graduate Certificate of Law;
- Graduate Certificate of New Technologies Law;
- Master of Financial Management and Law;
- Master of International Law and Diplomacy; and
- has applied for or been offered a place in one of the international Internships listed for the ANU Law Global Alumni Scholars Grant on the ANU Scholarships website.
- has applied for or been offered a place in one of the following opportunities supported by this travel grant:
- Self-Arranged International Internship LAWS4230/LAWS6230/LAWS4430/LAWS8430
Additional information
The award is valued at up to $10,000 and is paid in one instalment upon acceptance of the offer and submission of a completed ANU travel form, unless otherwise specified in the letter of offer.
Please note that, if approved, the payment will not exceed the total amount of quotes/receipts submitted for the activity.
The Award is paid in a one-off instalment upon accepting the Award unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.

Please note that this travel grant is only for international Internships listed under the eligibility section that has applied through the ANU College of Law, Governance, and Policy. Students who apply for the internships independently (not via the College) will not be eligible for the travel grant.

The Award will remain available throughout the calendar year, or until funds have run out, whichever is earliest.
