About this scholarship
Project 89 is an initiative of the Vietnamese government which aims to build capacity and academic training for Vietnamese university lecturers and executives. Its implementation is supported by the Australian government.
The Vietnamese government (Project 89) will provide:
- a stipend scholarship of $1,120 USD per month (2025 rate, to be updated annually)
- a tuition fee scholarship of $25,0000 USD (annually)
- an international return airfare and travel allowances
- Overseas Student Health Cover (up to $1000 USD per year)
ANU will provide:
- stipend scholarship being the difference between the Project 89 stipend and the ANU RTP Stipend Scholarship rate
- A fee remission merit scholarship being the difference between the Project 89 tuition fee scholarship and the tuition fee for the program in which the candidate is enrolled
