Each year, the ANU School of Music in the College of Arts & Social Sciences may offer up to four one-year awards known as the Emmanuel and Jenny Notaras Scholarship. This scholarship aims to support undergraduate students study at the ANU School of Music.
Funding for this award has been provided by Mr Emmanuel and Mrs Jenny Notaras. The Notaras family has a long-standing connection with ANU School of Music and the wider Canberra community.

Selection is made on the basis of applicants meeting the eligibility criteria. Preference will be given to students identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
In the event that there are no applicants who meet the first preference, the scholarship could be awarded to a student who satisfies one or more of the following criteria:
Scholarships are valued at a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $20,000 per annum for 1 year.
There is no application as students are automatically considered based on them being offered a place at the School and meeting the eligibility criteria. Additional documentation such as home address or a supporting statement or financial statements may be requested by the School of Music.
