About this scholarship

 

The Fenner School of Environment and Society  within the ANU College of Systems and Society may offer a number of awards known as the Fenner School of Environment and Society Bursary for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Student.

The objective of this award is to provide financial support to an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student enrolled in an eligible degree program, which contributes to the sustainable management and understanding of natural environments.

Funding for this Award is provided by the Fenner School of Environment and Society. 

Eligibility

 

The Award is available to a commencing or continuing ANU student who:

  1. is a domestic student;
  2. identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person; and
  3. receives an offer of admission to the Bachelor of Environment and Sustainability program offered by the Fenner School of Environment and Society within the ANU College of Systems and Society or;
  4. receives an offer of admission to one of the following programs and is undertaking a major offered by the Fenner School of Environment and Society:
    • Bachelor of Arts
    • Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) – Science
    • Bachelor of Science
    • Bachelor of Science (Advanced) (Honours)

The application shall be submitted in the form of a letter to the Director, Fenner School of Environment and Society (Email: Director.fennerschool@anu.edu.au), and include a brief statement setting out the reasons for their application.
