The objective of the award is to provide support to a current student, or graduate of the ANU College of Law, undertaking a 12 month Fellowship with the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague, Netherlands.
The award is intended to assist with the cost of living expenses while the recipient works as an Assistant Legal Counsel with the PCA's International Bureau. The recipient will assist with international arbitrations administered by the PCA, carry out legal research and drafting, and otherwise provide legal advice and services as directed by Legal Counsel within the PCA.
The 12-month Fellowship will commence in February.

The value of the award is $35,000. The award is paid in one instalment upon accepting the Award, unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.

If the PCA does not award the Fellowship to the candidate(s) nominated by the ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy, the travel grant will not be provided.
