About this scholarship
The School of Music within the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences may offer a number of awards known as the Joy and Norman Wheatley School of Music Scholarship.
The objectives of the Award are to support outstanding first-year undergraduate music students who are either planning to undertake an honours year or are studying a double degree, and who can demonstrate skills as a music practitioner/performer, with a preference to students studying Western music.
Funding for this Award is provided by Joy Wheatley.

Eligibility
The Award is available to a commencing or continuing ANU student who:
- is a domestic or international student;
- is enrolled in the Bachelor of Music, either as a single degree or as part of an approved double degree program at the Australian National University; and
- is in their first year of study in the Bachelor of Music.
Additional information
The value of the Award shall be stated within the letter of offer. The duration of the Award is up to 5 years. The Award is paid in equal instalments after census date each semester unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.
