About this scholarship

 

Each year the ANU School of Medicine and Psychology within the ANU College of Science and Medicine may offer a number of awards known as the Medical Venture Grant.

The objective of the Award is to provide support for students who enthusiastically seek activities outside of their set curriculum that foster self-development, and who demonstrate a curious and adventurous spirit.

Funding for this Award has been provided by an anonymous donor.

Eligibility

 

The Award is available each year to current ANU student/s who:

  1. is a domestic or international student;
  2. is enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery 8950XMCHD program at the School of Medicine and Psychology, College of Science and Medicine;
  3. has proposed an eligible activity as listed on the ANU Scholarships website and application for this Award; and
  4. is not a previous recipient of this award (either as an individual or as part of a group).

The value of the Award is stated in your letter of offer. The Award is paid in a one-off instalment upon accepting the Award unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.

The recipient is responsible for making payment of all tuition fees by the prescribed date as set out by the University each session. Recipients of the Award are responsible for the costs of books, study materials, accommodation and all other costs of study.

The application is submitted on the prescribed form. Any requirement for supporting documentation and forwarding details will be stated on the application form and/or ANU Scholarships website. The application and all supporting documentation (where applicable) must be submitted on or prior to the closing date published on the ANU Scholarships website.
