About this scholarship
Each year, the Fenner School of Environment and Society within the ANU College of Systems and Society may offer one award known as the Meller-Hume Scholarship in Agricultural Innovation.
The objective of the Award is to support undergraduate domestic and international students to develop skills and knowledge to pursue career opportunities in the agricultural sector and contribute to research that will expand our knowledge of agricultural production and environmental outcomes.
Funding for this Award has been provided by Troy Meller and Lesley Hume.

The Award is available each year to a continuing ANU student who:
- is a domestic student or an international student;

is enrolled in one of the following programs (including the Agricultural Innovation Major):
- Bachelor of Environment and Sustainability
- Bachelor of Environment and Sustainability (Honours)
- Bachelor of Science
- Bachelor of Science (Honours);
- must be enrolled in courses required for the Agricultural Innovation Major;
- has completed a minimum of 96 units of studies in their program; and
- has an interest in pursuing research in agricultural innovation.

Additional information
Selection is made on the basis of academic merit and the responses provided in the application. Preference will be given to projects that focus on grazing systems.
The value of the Award is stated in your letter of offer. The duration of the Award is one year. The Award is paid in two equal instalments after census date each semester unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.
