About this scholarship
The ANU College of Business and Economics may offer a scholarship known as the ANUResearch School of Economics Postgraduate Merit Scholarship with the aim to attract high-calibre domestic students into postgraduate programs offered by the Research School of Economics.

Eligibility
The award is available each year to a prospective student who:
- is an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident, an Australian humanitarian visa holder or a New Zealand citizen (or dual citizenship holders of either Australia or New Zealand);
- has been offered admission into a postgraduate coursework program in the ANU Research School of Economics; and
- has achieved at an excellent level in their university qualification.
Additional information
The scholarship provides a discount of 30% of the recipient's Domestic Tuition Fees (DTF), at the beginning of each semester, for the duration of the postgraduate program at the College.
There is no separate application as students applying through UAC are automatically considered based on them meeting the eligibility criteria or conditions prescribed under the Eligibility section.
Students who have applied for admission to the ANU in a previous intake, and then formally deferred their offer may still be considered for this award along with the commencing cohort. These students will need to contact the College Scholarships Office to request consideration for the award.
