About this scholarship

 

Each year the Shine-Dalgarno Centre for RNA Innovation, John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR), ANU College of Health and Medicine may offer up to ten awards known as the Shine-Dalgarno PhD Supplementary Scholarship ("the Award").

Academic merit

The Award is available each year to a prospective candidate who is:

  • A domestic or international candidate; and
  • Is a recipient of an ANU approved HDR base stipend scholarship; and
  • is enrolled in a full-time program of study for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the subject area of RNA biology, with supervision from a member of the Shine-Dalgarno Centre for RNA Innovation (SDCRI).

Additional information

A supplementary scholarship to the value of $10,000pa to top-up the AGRTP rate of the base stipend to $46,652pa paid fortnightly.
