PhD Scholarship in Water Economics, Policy and Justice

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD scholar to work with a team of leading water economists on evaluating the benefits, costs and trade-offs of water policy reform in the Murray-Darling Basin.

Working with a multi-university research team, industry partners and community organisations on an Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Project, you will develop a PhD research project that involves at least one of the following Research Themes: 

The Joyce and James Heron Scholarship

The Australian National University (ANU)may offer an award known as the Joyce and James Heron Scholarship.

The objectives of the Award are to support women from regional, rural, remote areas of Australia who attended a government school, who have the most financial disadvantage and are undertaking studies in the humanities/arts at the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS).

ANU Access and Transition Bursary

For students commencing their Undergraduate degree at the Australian National University (ANU) in Semester 2, 2026, the ANU Coursework Scholarships Office (CSO) may offer a number of awards known as the ANU Access and Transition Bursary.

The objective of the Award is to provide financial support to domestic students to assist with study-related costs associated with undertaking their program at ANU.

Funding for this Award is provided by the Australian National University through internally allocated funding resources.

GO Foundation Scholarship

TheTjabal Indigenous Higher Education Centre (‘the Tjabal Centre’) within the Australian National University (ANU) may offer an award known as theGO Foundation Scholarship.

The objective of the Award is to support an undergraduate Indigenous student enrolled in a degree program at the University.

Funding for this Award is provided by GO Foundation.
