ANU provides performer adjustment factors for the achievement of an Australian Music Education Board (AMEB) Grade 8 or higher. Applicants who achieved AMEB Grade 8 or higher at any time during or prior to their Year 11 and 12 studies are eligible for 5 performer adjustment factors. Applicants are required to send a scanned copy of the certificate and update it to their application for assessment.
You can find the overall eligibility requirements for adjustment factors here. Adjustment factors through the Elite Athlete Friendly University Entry Scheme, the Subject Adjustment Scheme, and the Performer Scheme have a shared cap of 5 adjustments within the overall maximum of 15. Excluded programs do not accept adjustment factors from these three schemes.
Performer Scheme | Eligibility | ANU support for recruitment and admissions | Adjustments |

For applicants applying for 2027 commencement and onwards, the Performer Scheme is discontinued. It will be replaced by a Diversity Priority Group: Program Level for the Bachelor of Music under the Diversity Scheme. Eligible applicants will receive 5 adjustment factors towards their selection rank for the Bachelor of Music as a single program preference only.
