About this scholarship

 

The objective of the Award is to reward academic excellence in secondary school studies and provide assistance with costs related to tertiary studies.

Funding for this Award has been provided by the University.

The Award is available each year to a commencing ANU student who:

  • is a domestic student;
  • applies for admission to an undergraduate degree program offered by the University via the ANU Admission Scholarship and Accommodation Application System or has ANU listed as a top 3 preference when applying for admission to the University via the University Admissions Centre (UAC);
  • receives an ATAR of 99.90 or above (no adjustment factors) or equivalent; and
  • has not enrolled in any undergraduate degree program before commencing at the University.

How to apply

All applicants applying for admission to ANU through the direct Admission Scholarship and Accommodation Application will be automatically considered for the award based on them meeting the eligibility criteria and electing to be considered for scholarships.

Applicants who have put at least one ANU program as a first, second or third preference when applying for admission through the Universities Admissions Centre (NSW & ACT) will also be considered.

The scholarships offer a stipend of $10,000 per annum paid in equal instalments at the beginning of each semester up to three years for a coursework program without Honours or four years for an undergraduate program with Honours (either embedded Honours or a plus-one Honours program)

All applicants applying for admission to ANU through the direct Admission Scholarship and Accommodation Application will be automatically considered for the award based on them meeting the eligibility criteria and electing to be considered for scholarships.

Applicants who have put at least one ANU program as a first, second or third preference when applying for admission through the Universities Admissions Centre (NSW & ACT) will also be considered.
