Staying with us over the summer

Are you planning to stay in Canberra for the summer holidays? ANU offers short-term accommodation from 8 December 2024 to 5 February 2025 at Yukeembruk Village, our largest residence on campus with views of Sullivan’s Creek, Black Mountain, and Lake Burley Griffin.

To reserve your summer accommodation, make a booking through the ANU accommodation portal from Monday 14 October 2024.

Payment can be made at the reception of Yukeembruk upon arrival. If you are not a current or prospective resident, a refundable $500 bond is required.

If your contract ends on 8 December and you only need a few extra nights, submit a summer accommodation application early to ensure a smooth transition to your summer residence.

If you need to move in earlier for your 2025 accommodation, please contact your respective residences for availability. Early arrivals can be accommodated from 5 February 2025. If arriving before this date, you can book summer accommodation.

For our current residents, the following residences will remain operational during the summer period:

• Bruce Hall (Packard Wing)
• Ursula Hall (Laurus Wing)
• Graduate House
• Davey Lodge
• Kinloch Lodge
• Lena Karmel Lodge
• Warrumbul Lodge

If you are a current resident in any of the above residences, you will receive separate instructions on how to arrange your summer stay. Please note that the availability is limited, and you may be asked to relocate to a different room type or different accommodation facility for this period.
