About this scholarship

 

Each year the Australian National University may offer a number of scholarships known as the ANU Changing Futures Scholarship.

The objective is to provide financial support to students who have faced challenges so they may pursue their studies at ANU. Funding has been provided by the University.

Eligibility

 
The Award is available each year to a commencing ANU student who:
  1. is a domestic student; and
  2. receives an offer of admission to an undergraduate degree program offered by the University; and
  3. based on evidence provided in their application to the University, has been assessed as meeting at least one of the following characteristics:
  • identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • permanent humanitarian visa-holder
  • attended their final years of secondary education at a school with an ICSEA of 900 or below
  • received the highest rating for a severe and long-term physical or psychological illness, condition or disability for a period of at least six months during Year 11

Additional information

 

The value is stated in the letter of offer and is paid in equal instalments upon confirmation of enrolment each semester. The duration is for up to five years.

There is no application as students are automatically considered based on them meeting the eligibility criteria or conditions prescribed under the Eligibility section.
