The Kim Jackson Scholarship is to be awarded to a woman from a non-metropolitan area and enrolled in the ANU Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (Research and Development) single or double degree for the duration of their undergraduate degree.
Funding for this award has been provided by Ms Kim Jackson, an ANU Alumna who graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Engineering Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce. Kim is a strong advocate on how education has the power to change lives and believes this scholarship will change the life of the recipient, enabling them to study at ANU and engage in all facets of university life.

Continuation based on academic performanceThe award is available each year to a prospective ANU student who identifies as a woman and who:
a) is an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident;
b) is enrolling in a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (Research and Development) single or flexible double degree offered by the College of Engineering & Computer Science
c) has a residential address from a non-metropolitan area.
The recipient of this scholarship will be awarded $20,000 per year for up to five years, depending on the duration of their undergraduate studies.
Recipients will receive mentoring and career development support from College staff members and receive priority access to industry engagement opportunities.
To be considered for the award, applicants must apply for admission through the ANU Admission Scholarship and Accommodation (ASA) application system and elect to be considered for scholarships.
Students who meet the eligibility criteria are required to submit a short video application, using the prescribed form, by the application close date to be considered for the award.
