When you get here, this will be your chance to get all the info straight from the source—student ambassadors and expert staff. Look out for anyone in a black ANU shirt. They are your best source for where to go for advice on degree programs, studying abroad, internships, scholarships and other important questions.
Throughout the day, attend the dedicated information sessions covering a range of topics. Hear from academics and current students about their experiences and what to expect from your studies.

Tours are a great way to check out recognisable spots like our libraries, student residences and academic buildings. You’ll also come across some incredible art and sculptures along the way.

Each academic college offers a look inside their unique spaces, from speech and language labs to recording studios, art workshops, science precincts and high-tech learning facilities. If you’re looking for the full uni experience, living in the heart of campus is the way to go. ANU student residences put you right in the middle of everything, with a built-in community and support networks to help you settle in.
Did you know we guarantee a room for first-year students? That’s one less thing to worry about while you focus on finishing Year 12.
Open Day at ANU is the perfect time to check out our residences in person. Walk through student rooms, explore common areas and get a feel for where you’d like to live. This will help when it’s time to submit your accommodation preferences—either in the early offer application form between March and May or later in the year via the accommodation portal if you apply through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).
