We are seeking domestic PhD applicants with advanced skills in mathematical statistics, infectious disease modelling, or spatial modelling to contribute to an ARC Linkage funded project “Surveillance programs and sampling schemes for assessing and maintaining the absence of pests and diseases”.

Funding for this Award has been provided by the Pacific Institute Endowment.

Dewar Milne Prize in Immunology title

Each year the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) in the ANU College of Health and Medicine may offer an award known as the Dewar Milne Prize in Immunology.

Funding for this Award has been provided by John Dewar Milne, a graduate of the ANU.

The objective of the prize is to acknowledge a high-achieving research candidate who has carried out the most significant piece of research during their doctoral candidature, whilst enrolled in a PhD program based in the College of Health and Medicine.

It is normal for recipients to undertake study on a full-time basis, however, in accordance with strict criteria, the scholarship can be awarded for part-time study for Domestic candidates only. International scholars must undertake study on a full-time basis.
