Before applying to ANU, it's important to have an understanding of the admissions process and requirements related to your application. Admission requirements may vary for different programs. Some programs have specific requirements, such as prerequisites or additional selection criteria (e.g. a portfolio for Visual Arts). Please refer to the information on Programs and Courses for requirements specific to your chosen program.
For domestic undergraduate applicants, ANU provides two application portals.
Once you find the correct portal, you can begin your application process by registering. Each portal has its own unique application process.

For the UAC application process, please click here. UAC applicants who would like to apply for accommodation and scholarships are required to submit separate applications.

UAC Application deadlines depend on the offer round. ANU only participates in selected offer rounds each intake. To find out the selected offer rounds for your intake, please refer to the institutions participating in offer rounds webpage. If your application is successful, you will receive an offer directly from ANU or UAC, depending on your application portal. You have the option to accept, defer, or decline your offer.
